Are you still there? :3
Feb. 2nd, 2011 01:51 pmPlayed Portal again the other day. Oh god, I love that game so much.
------
Goddamn me and my impulses, I placed another order to ThinkGeek. -_-
Here's the thing. After the big flood relief payout, my mate Greg bought himself a nice TV. I don't watch TV, and I play video games on a computer monitor anyway (albeit a piece-of-shit CRT that's at least seven years old and doesn't always work), so I wasn't particularly jealous or anything. But I did think to myself, "Man, I really wish I could afford this-and-that, since I barely buy anything for myself anyway". So yeah. I'm an idiot, I know.
In other news, it's been really interesting "watching" a friend of mine play Dragon Age: Origins for the first time. She took a totally different approach to the game than I did. I'm a big fan of Bioware games, and I'm glad she enjoyed it. I still hate Zevran, though. I need to finish my half-done playthough, with my dwarven rogue-chick. I think I actually had her trying to romance Zev, if only for roleplaying purposes.
By the way, I may have found a potential job - a permanant, full-time clerical position at Russel Mineral Equipment. Nothing exciting, except for the little fact that IT'S A JOB! If I nail this, this means that I should actually be able to get a car and move out! 8D 8D
Also, this would make me a cleric. Not as good as a mage, but better than a paladin or rogue. :3
We'll see what happens. I'm sending my application this afternoon. I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch, but I'm sure as hell not gonna throw my eggs away, either.
