Jul. 13th, 2010 02:15 am1. If you'd like to play along, reply to this post and I'll assign you a letter.
2. You then list (and upload or link to the video, if you feel like it) 5 (or 6 or 7) songs that start with that letter.
3. Then, as I'm doing here, you'll post the list to your journal with the instructions. Easy peasy!
fluffysilver gave me D. Then she couldn't make up her mind, and said I should do T instead. So I'm doing both.
For D:
1. Kingbastard - Distill
I can't get the direct download link, because of a stupid filter. But here's the page:
http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/88015
2. David Schooley - Dreams We Forget
A beautiful, peaceful piano piece, one of my all-time favourites. Sounds great if you throw a rain track on in the background.

3. Possible Oscar - Dead Again
A tribute to all the ways to die, ever. Except the real death. Absolutely hilarious.

Lyrics can be found here. Trust me, you'll need them.
4. Group X - Don't Touch That
No words can decribe this shameless rip-off. Except "shameless rip-off", I guess.
5. Tripod - Fly So High
And now for T:
1. Hideki Naganuma - The Concept Of Love
2. The Presets - This Boy's In Love
I want this guy's singing voice.
3. Lemon Demon - The Ultimate Showdown Of Ultimate Destiny
How could I leave this gem out?
Warning, lotta blood, lotta gore, could be triggering.
4. Tripod - Tennis Boy
Yeah, another Tripod song. I don't actually listen to them all that much, but they're good, and this is one of my fave song/sketches by them.
5. Thirty Seconds To Mars - This Is War
I don't usually like TSTM. I hate how they use 4/4 time in fucking everything.
But this song by them, although still suffering from 4/4 syndrome, is great.
And this is the video that goes with it (the song is shorter in this version, so I posted it seperately. It is awesome.
By the way, I suggest you watch this one on its actual YouTube page, rather than on here. (Just click on the video instead of the play button.) At least for me, only part of it shows on the little screen.
Again, blood/gore/trigger warning.
So yeah. Reply and I shall assign you a letter. I promise to give you only one, unlike *cough* somebody else.

1. Hideki Naganuma - The Concept Of Love
UNDERSTAND, UNDERSTAND
UNDERSTAND, UNDERSTAND
UNDERSTAND, UNDERSTAND
THE CONCEPT OF LOVE (UNF!)
If you get it, you get it. If you don't, you don't. This song has a particular nostalgia attached to it for me... anyone else played Jet Set Radio Future?
