So hey, look what I got today!

... wait. No, no. That was just my hard hat. John, the trainer, wanted a two group photos - one of which having our PPE (Personal Protective Equipement, aka safety gear) on, but he had us go around the class and pick a name for everyone's hats. (As in, everyone picked everyone's names.) Either it was a nickname or a reference. We had some really good ones, I think the best one was Neo (because the guy knows kung fu). Hehe. As you can see, mine was The Professor. Mostly 'cause I get ridiculously excited by the theory (have you ever seen me get excited in a science class? I grin like an idiot and talk to myself, think a human version of Mordin Solus (haha, The Professor) from Mass Effect and you won't be far off), and already have a pretty large amount of general knowledge. I seriously asked more questions during this course than everyone else put together. Even while we were waiting for our coordinator to show up, I got the trainer to explain something to me about motors that I didn't quite understand yet.
Which, incidentally, is why John earmarked me to be an electrical engineer. Because he guessed - correctly - that being a plain ol' electrician would bore me shitless.
Hai there, random leg and feet. Oh, and for non-Aussies, TAFE is the college. Full name is the College of Technical And Further Education.
ANYWAYS.
This is what I really got today:

After fifteen weeks, I have it at last. About fucking time. ^_^
Next step: Get my proper driver's license, and then sort out enrolling at uni for electrical engineering.
